Ethnic and Designer Sarees

Besides traditional sarees, ethnic and designer sarees are also the women's choice. These sarees gives an stylish and different look to the Indian women.



These sarees are available in different fabrics and designs that gives an outstanding look to the 21st century women. These designer sarees make a woman look gorgeous, young and beautiful! Most designer sarees such as net sarees, chiffon sarees and georgette sarees are done up with bright colors and bold yet feminine patterns on them.

They come in various beautiful & unique designs to tantalize the Indian women's senses. Lets have a look over the Sarees of different fabrics :

Net Sarees

In net sarees soft net is used so that the embroidery work can be done easily and it does not irritate the wearer. These sarees are so transparent that the midriff will be clearly visible and the embroidery over sarees gives a lavish look. 


These sarees are beautiful and heavy enough that they can be weared only on some auspicious occasions like marriage, parties and all. The embroidery material used in these sarees are beads, laces, shells, stones , silk threads etc. Hanging stones are also used for making them more lavish which are tagged at other end of the saree. The blouses of these sarees are also designed so well. The back of the blouses are lavishly designed with the hangings and the cut work designs.


Chiffon Sarees

Chiffon is a French pronunciation of a cloth which is lightweight, balanced plain-woven sheer fabric woven of twisted crepe yarn. Chiffon is made from cotton, silk or synthetic fibers. 

This fabric is used for Sarees also. These Chiffon Sarees are engraved with various materials like golden zari border, sequins work, stone work. But as this is a very lighweight cloth so this fabric does not support the heavy beaded or shell embroidery. 



The above beautifully wrapped saree is of chiffon fabric. Due to its lighweight and fine fabric it wrapped beautifully and give thin look to the feminine.


Cotton Sarees 

Cotton is a soft, fluffy fiber boll that grows around seeds. The cotton grows on the tree which is the only source of cotton. Cotton is used for various purposes and one of them is Saree. These cotton Sarees are basically designed in hot places as cotton absorbs the heat and sweating.

These cotton sarees are beautifully designed with sober colors and designs. For making these cotton sarees beautiful and new forever you need to give them proper starch so that the colors and finishing of the sarees will be same forever.



Some  of these cotton sarees come up with open ends at the other end of the saree which is called pallu of the saree. 

Silk Sarees

Silk is also a natural fabric which is generated by an insect or worm named silk worm. But generally only the silk of moth caterpillars has been used for textile manufacturing. The silk is produced by the larvae of the insects then it processed and used for manufacturing cloths. Only some of the states manufactured and processed the silk like Surat in Gujarat, Banglore, Maysore and many more. The Silk Sarees of these cities are globally famous.



These Silk Sarees are manufactured using the bright colors and worked with highly shinning material like zari and silk threads. Silk Sarees gives very rich look to the Indian Women. The Silk Sarees are mostly famous in South India. These are weared at the special occasion like wedding or festivals with the Gold jewellery.
